Mimi & Justin joyfully request the pleasure of your company as we speak our vows and join in marriage in the presence of family and friends.
We’ll be using this as a platform to keep all of our amazing guests up to speed on our upcoming special day along with travel information so you can be well informed as you plan your visit to the beautiful island of Crete in Greece.
We recognize that this is quite the journey to attend our special day, so please do not feel any pressure if you just can’t make it work to join us. Please do let us know as soon as you can though so we can account for each and every seat.

Getting to Crete from Athens
By Sea
If you’d rather take the ocean route, there are overnight boats that will take you directly to Heraklion from Athens.
Athens (Port of Piraeus)
Arrival Port: Heraklion Port (Crete)
Crossing Time: About 8.5 to 9.5 hours (overnight ferries usually depart around 9:00 PM and arrive around 6:30 AM)
Main Operators: Minoan Lines and SeaJets/Blue Star
By Plane (Recommended)
Our recommended route would be to fly into Heraklion or Chania from Athens by plane with Heraklion being the cheaper option.
Both airports are just over an hour driving from the venue and surrounding areas.
Accommodations
Staying in the Nearby City (rethymno)
We will be organizing a shuttle bus that will pick up guests in the city of Rethymno, a beautiful coastal city on the island of Crete famed for its incredibly preserved 16th-century Venetian Old Town and located about a 15-20 minute drive to our venue, Agreco Farm.
There are so many stunning hotels and villa rentals in the city at all price points so if you’re looking for a more lively city experience, this would be a great place to stay.
More details on private rentals are below but there are a lot of hotel options as well, especially in and around the old town area, it’s amazing

Villa or Apartment Rentals
Local to the area around Agreco Farm is a whole host of incredible villas of all price ranges. There are many located in the around the venue and in neighboring villages so we encourage you to have a look at your options. Please ensure you’re also considering options for travel to and from your villa. This will be the quieter, more relaxed option for places to stay.
We have been told there are plenty of taxi services on the island so please plan ahead in terms of ordering them to pick you up and take you to the wedding on the day of.
